Getting Started

Do I need to create an account?

No, you can receive a gift by using the guest checkout. However, not all functionality will be available via the guest checkout.  

Creating an account also gives you the flexibility to accept, swap or give your gift to someone else.    

Forgot your password?

No worries! Just click the "Forgot Password?" link on the sign-in page. Enter the email you used to create your Giftbee account, and we'll send you a link to reset your password. You'll be back to buzzing around the hive in no time!

I have entered an incorrect email.  How do I correct this?

How’s my information kept secure?

At Giftbee, we understand the importance of keeping your personal information safe. We collect, handle and disclose all personal information in accordance with our Collection Notice and Privacy Policy (hyperlink to https://www.giftbee.com/privacy-policy-and-collection-notice). We use top-notch security measures to protect your data, and we never store any of your financial details. You can rest assured that your information is in good hands with us.

How much can I Gift to someone on Giftbee?

Whether you're sending a little something or going all out, we've got you covered! The minimum value for a single Gift is $10, and the maximum is $500.

What's the maximum value I can keep in my Giftbee Balance?

Your Giftbee Balance can hold up to $500 at any time. That's a whole lot of gifting potential!

How do I check my Giftbee Balance?

To check your Giftbee Balance, simply sign in to your Giftbee account and navigate to your Giftbee Vault. Your Giftbee Balance will be prominently displayed there, along with all your other Giftbee goodies.

How do I give a Gift on Giftbee?

Giving a Gift with Giftbee is a breeze! Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Create a free Giftbee account:  Head over to our website and sign up in just a few clicks. It's quick and easy!
  1. Explore our hive of gifts: Browse our marketplace for a wide variety of products, give a Giftbee Balance or use a Gift you have already received. We've got something for everyone!
  1. Add a personal touch:  Make your Gift extra special by adding a heartfelt message, uploading a fun video.
  1. Send your Gift with a buzz: Enter the recipient's email address and delivery date, and we'll take care of the rest!  They'll receive a notification with your thoughtful Gift.

How can I personalise Gifts that I give or give forward?

At Giftbee, we believe that personalisation is key to making gifts truly special. Here's how you can add your own touch:

If I choose to Give my Gift forward, will the new recipient know?

No, the recipient won't know that the Gift has been "re-gifted". At Giftbee, we believe in the power of giving joy, no matter the gift's origin. We keep the original sender's information private, allowing for seamless re-gifting and ensuring every gift finds a happy home.

Can I top up my Giftbee Balance?

Not at this time, however we will be introducing the option to be able to top up your Giftbee Balance with a credit or debit card, so keep an eye out for this.  

Do I need to spend my whole Giftbee Balance in one go?

No, you can spend as little or as much of your Giftbee Balance as you wish in any transaction.

Can I exchange my Giftbee Balance for cash?

No, your Giftbee Balance cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.  

What if I have changed my mind and don’t want to Accept or Give my gift now?

Gifts don’t expire so you can take as long as you like to Accept or Give them forward.  However, once a gift has been accepted or given forward it cannot be reversed.  

How many times can I swap my gift?

You can only Swap your gift once, so take your time when choosing what you’d like to wap it for.

Do gifts expire?

No, gifts don't expire. You can keep them securely in your Giftbee Vault until you decide to use them. If you choose to Accept a Gift by redeeming it for a digital gift card, specific terms and conditions and expiration periods set by the retailer who issues the gift card will apply to that Gift Card. You will have the chance to review those terms and conditions prior to accepting your Gift.  

*Remember: Each issuer of a gift card has its own rules for using gift cards, so be sure to check those details before you accept!

What if I have a problem using a digital gift card that I have received through Giftbee?

You should first contact the retailer directly for any issues relating to the use of digital gift cards.  If your issue cannot be resolved this way, please contact us at support@giftbee.com and we will investigate.

What if I have a problem with an item that I ordered through Giftbee?

If the item is faulty, damaged or unfit for use damaged on delivery, please contact us at support@giftbee.com to discuss a refund, return or exchange.

Can I use my Giftbee Balance at a participating retailer‘s store or online?

No, your Giftbee Balance cannot be used directly at a participating retailer's store or online.  Your Giftbee Balance must be used on www.giftbee.com by either redeeming your gift for a digital gift card or buying a physical gift on the Giftbee Marketplace.

 

Digital gift cards – how to use

How do I check the balance of any digital gift cards that I have accepted?

You will need to visit the website for the retailer of the digital gift card that you have received.

How do I use a digital gift card?

Your use of your digital gift card will vary depending on the terms and conditions of the participating retailer that issues the digital gift card.  Instructions for how to redeem your digital gift card are displayed in the Giftbee Vault and are also available via the email that you received confirming your acceptance of your gift for a digital gift card.  Sign in to your Giftbee account to view your digital gift cards and their specific instructions.  

Do digital gift cards expire?

The expiry date of any digital gift card will vary from retailer to retailer.  Please refer to the digital gift card terms and conditions for more information.  

Can I swap or give forward a digital gift card?

No, only Gifts can be swapped or given forward. Once you have redeemed your Giftbee Balance for a digital gift card, it cannot be reversed.

 

Bulk Ordering

Can I send a bulk order of gifts?

Yes, you can send thousands of Gifts securely and instantly. Contact our corporate team to discuss your options at contactus@giftbee.com.  

What is the minimum and maximum value of an individual gift that I can purchase?

The minimum value that can purchased is $10 and the maximum value is $500.  

Can my order contain multiple denominations/multiple items for different recipients?

Yes, you can order different denominations and/or items for each recipient.  

Can I add a personal message for each recipient or does the message need to be the same for everyone?

Yes, you can include a personalised message for each recipient.  There is a limit of 400 characters per message.

Orders on the Giftbee Marketplace

How do I cancel my order?

Orders for physical products are packed and dispatched as fast as possible.

Once an order has been accepted, it cannot be changed or cancelled.

Can I change or update my address on a delivery order?

Please contact us at contactus@giftbee.com and we’ll check if the address change is possible.

Delivery

How will my order be sent to me?

If you have ordered a digital gift card, details will be available in your Giftbee Vault and via the email that was sent when you accepted the digital gift card.

If you have ordered a physical product it will be delivered via the chosen method of the participating retailer who fulfils that order.  You will receive delivery/tracking details after your order has been processed and dispatched.  

How long will it take to receive my order?

Delivery is usually within 3-5 days from receipt of order.   If you have not received your order within this timeframe, please contact us.

Please note that supply of items could impact delivery timings.  We will update you if there is any delay.  

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched you will be sent an email containing a tracking number and the name of the delivery provider.  A tracking number will also be updated in the Transaction History in your Giftbee Vault.  

You will be required to sign for your delivery.

I didn’t receive all my goods

If some of your order has not arrived, it is most likely that your order has been split into multiple shipments or some items may be on back order.

My delivery arrived damaged

If any products are delivered faulty, damaged or unfit for use, please contact us at contactus@giftbee.com.  

Refunds & Returns

How do I request a refund or return items?

Please review our Refund and Returns policy and contact us to discuss your refund or return.  

How do I return faulty goods?

Please contact us at contactus@giftbee.com to discuss how to arrange the return of any damaged or faulty items.

I received the wrong product

If you’ve received the wrong product, please contact us at contactus@giftbee.com so we can organise to have the right product sent to you.

Can I return goods without a receipt?

To return your item and receive a refund, you’ll need to provide proof of purchase that the item was purchased with us.  

You will have been emailed a receipt when you completed your purchase.
